Microsoft has now issued their press release saying that you can expect to see the Kinect setups and games towards the end of 2010. Most likely, just in time for Christmas! The trailer for the Kinect video games and set up for your Xbox looks very enticing. There are thousands of people out there who simply have preferred to keep their Xbox console rather than switching over to the Wii. Formerly, the Wii was the console available that allowed you to really be in the game.
It was only a matter of time before someone else released a 
competitive series, and why wouldn’t it have been Microsoft? The great thing about Kinect video games is that you they are technically just different forms of Xbox games. The Kinect sensor and setup plugs right into your Xbox and what sets it apart from the Wii console is that no controllers are needed! A completely hands free way of gaming in a more active way and works on every single Xbox 360! Some Kinect video games have already begun being released on the Microsoft Xbox website and other retailers. These games include Dance Central which is kind of like a full scale DDR with no mats and all your moves. Kinect sports can be compared to Wii sports but has much better graphics and realistic looking players. Are you a fan of the Zumba workouts? The Zumba Kinect game will get you off the couch and into a better body right in your own living room.
One of the most talked about Kinect game that is said to be released is Kinect Adventures. This is a more extreme form interactive gaming and includes white water rapids games, ridiculously challenging obstacle courses, and even an adventure through a laboratory underwater! If you are a fan of those games that require you maintain things, the Kinect animals set looks like a very cute game. You keep your own flock of wild animals on your own private island! Kinect looks very cool and since all you need is to buy the sensor and the game to get started, it makes it much more affordable than its competitors.
